I have to approach this from two angles, philosophically and scientifically: first - can a skier ever have variations in his appearance if, as my answer in the question shows, he really is a skier, in which case he would be nothing more than a skier (cf. Moebius' ribbon); = the same tape no matter how you look) and secondly - is it at all possible to determine by scientific methods whether there is even humanity or skiers even existing (if one has to confuse a concept as abstract as "hope" with such things)?

Before going into detailed discussion, I would first of all like to thank you, Kaappis, for your significant contributions towards a brighter future. I very much believe that sophisticated discussion amongst well read gentlemen is the key of enhancing human societies and our understanding of the true realness of the reality.

It is true that we have no way of penetrating realness in a way that reveals if skiers exist. However we can make a thought experiment - if a skier skiis on a ski track and quacks like a duck, do skiers exist? I believe the answer is yes.

An interesting thought experiment that inevitably raises the following reflections and questions: if a supposed skier would actually do as the experiment does, then how could we know if it really is a skier and not, as common sense would implicate when hearing duck sounds, a duck, and, of course we would need basic knowledge from the skiers childhood or their whole personal history to fully answer this question, what makes him do exactly the act of our thought experiment? In me, this evokes a memory - people keep asking me, "why do you walk like a duck and stink like a stink bug?" Does the skier have a budding or already in full bloom, hmm, "gentlemen's problem"?

forgive me for no being prompt in my response. the situation is deep. you, my dear friend and fellow intellectual, mr. kaappis man, have posed a question of profound importance. how does a fucking duck ski? and how does this relate to the perception and conceptualisation of our sensory observation (what is observation, is it something derived from perception and a fundamentally skewed thing like drinking a kosander?) - and our idea of what even can be considered an element of the true element of the true reality of realness? i strongly believe ducks have amazing trancendential skiing abilities and their close study can lead us to a deeper understanding of profound ontological questions.
