Gerald Durrell: Eläimet ja muu kotiväkeni. Luin ton lapsena varmaan joitakin kymmeniä kertoja, nyt sain sen taas käsiini. On se kyl hyvä, mut vituttaa asua täällä paskasateessa ilman eläimiä.

opin ihan häkellyttäviä asioita tästä kirjasta. esim. sen että japanilaiset kamikazelentäjät oli pääosin ihan tavallisia ihmisiä, jotka ei välttämättä halunnu kuolla ja huolehtivat siitä kuinka heidän perheet pärjää oman hengenmenon jälkeen ja silleen. eikä kamikazelentäjät myöskään ollu robottivamppyyriterminaattorininjoja, vaan tosiaanki ihan perus sotilaita.
lentäjien omat kirjeet ja haastattelut ja muut oli kyllä mielenkiintosta kamaa, mutta en ehkä ihan osunu kohderyhmään tän kirjan kanssa. tää ois ehkä voinu olla silmät avaava kokemus jos olisin joku john mcsoldier in texas circa '67.

Hämmentävä kirja, koska siinä ei puhuttu juuri mitään parisuhteista. Muutenkin hieman korkealentoinen, mutta tulipa luettua. Kansi oli kyllä kaunis!
