Profane Existence #40: (KANSALAIISTOTTELEMATTOMNOUS)"My first impression of this was a heavier, Finnish version of Oi Polloi, right down to the song structure and unique vocals style. Reading through the letter sent with this confirmed my suspicion by calling themselves "Anarcho-punk from Finland and Scotland" which, along with the title "Fuck Their Fuckin' system" says Deek is behind this. Super (no, I mean SUPER) powerful hardcore punk music, with fuzzy guiters, chainsaweriffic bass lines, a drummer that could be banging on your cranium, and of course the most pissed-off vocals on the planet. The lyrics are mostly in English and brutally attack the forces of imperialism, the "war on terrorism", Zionist Israeli settlements in Palestine, anti-immigrant laws, and of course the fucked up fuckin' system. This one gets played over and over again. (Dan)"

There's also a member from Diaspora, but enough with the ex-members talk. Kansalaistottelemattomuss make a name for themselves here with their OiPolloi-esq. brand of heavy hitting anarchopunk, even if it's a very long and hard to pronounce one for most English speaking punks. Fans of Oi Polloi will definitely want to seek this one out even if it takes a little extra effort. Can't wait to start seeing some "Kansalaistottelemattomuss" patches around! ...Almost forgot, but this one comes on RED vinyl to boot..." -Jay H.

AUSTRINKEN: "Meine Fresse, die Finnen von KANSALAISTOTTELEMATTOMUUS scheinen echt schwer einen an der Gondel zu haben... Hey, keine normale Band gibt sich einen Namen, den 1.) kaum niemand schreiben kann, 2.) keine Sau in der Lage ist auszusprechen und 3.) sich eh kein Mensch merken kann, aber das ist alles ziemlich egal, denn KANSALAISTOTTELEMATTOMUUSï¿½ Mucke rult ziemlich!! KANSALAISTOTTELEMATTOMUUS bringen eher mittelschnellen, sehr kraftvollen Hardcorepunk mit heiserem, kehligen Gesang und in meinen zarten Lauschern klingen diese fünf Stücke vehement wie einige der alten OI POLLOI Sachen, was unter anderem auch daran liegt, daß die ihre sehr geilen Lyrics gleichzeitig in finnisch, englisch und sogar deutsch verfaßt haben, von daher kannst du mit KANSALAISTOTTELEMATTOMUUS ï¿½ haha, mußte diesen Namen einfach nochmal loswerden!! ï¿½ eigentlich wirklich nicht so sehr viel falsch machen!! Man, die klingen wirklich so dermaßen nach OI POLLOI, daß ich echt mich nicht wundern würde, wenn irgendwelche Funktionäre von denen hier mitmischen würden. Sowas nenne ich hochgradig geilen, internationalen Hardcorepunk, der nur noch killt, so OI POLLOI Maniacs take fucking note!!"
